10:24 pm	SO, it's been over a year since i last posted on here.  I don't know why, but i come back to LJ in cycles.  Or like every year i'll post like crazy for a little while and then forget about it completely till the next time. But ohhh, how things have changed since May 11, 2007.  In short?  Went away for co op to vancouver in January 2008, started Muay Thai, busted my knee and ankle, hooked up with a boy, finished 2nd year of university. The long version is too long, lol.  I'll get around to it maybe one of these days. (Comment on this)

10:22 am	Wow, so, finished this year of school awhile ago, but I'm still so damn bored.  My pool job starts as usual in july, but I have a month and a half to kill before then.  Tried looking for a job, and I'm going out again in a little while to throw around copies of my resume.   It's a little sad that all the shows I've been watching for the last several months are approaching their season finales.  I have absolutely NO idea what's going to happen on Heroes, which is refreshing, for a change.  I hope I'm not disappointed by Lost though, I haven't really been too excited about the second half of this season.  Prison Break was a bust for me, I don't even know if I'll follow it so carefully next season.  But, we'll see! 12:43 pm	Only one more final to go! After not posting for awhile, I'm finally almost done with exams :). Just the electrical one on friday, and I'll be heading home until the fall.  Started watching Ouran High School Host Club in an attempt to procrastinate, and it's so cute!  Also watched the Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, it was a little strange, but had funny character interactions, so overall, it was okay.  I'll be watching Fate Stay Night and Fullmetal Alchemist next, probably.  Ahh, must get back to studying, but at least I'm in the home stretch! :) (Comment on this)

10:01 am	Only two more weeks of school.  well, really only 5 days of finals, but still.  I just have to get past the next few days of madly stuffing calculus into my poor abused brain, and I'll be fine.  I don't even know what I'm going to do with myself for 4 months off :). 12:23 pm	So, I really really wanted to post last night, but my connection in residence was acting up and I couldn't. I had just finished the manga RIN, I can't remember the mangaka's name off the top of my head, but it's by the same person as Desire.  And RIN just blew me away.  I actually LOVED it.  The artwork was beautiful, and the storyline was amazing.  I can't even remember the last time I was so engrossed by a manga.  I think I'd have to say that this has earned itself a place as one of my favourite manga.  It's not that long, only 10 chapters, but during that short period of time the characters grow so much.  I love the relationships in this story, and I can see myself rereading this many times in the future! On another note, only two more weeks of lectures before exams start, so I'll be stuck with my face in my books for awhile.  :( (Comment on this)

9:30 pm	Today was a pretty good day.  Got up for my 8:30 lecture, struggled through the electrical lab, and then headed to Mongolian Grill with Laura for dinner.  At least tomorrow I don't have my Earth lab in the morning so I get to sleep in =). And in the afternoon is my interview with the Civil Engineering prof for the co op job.  I don't really know what to expect for that, because it doesn't seem to be an uptight interview, just a 'meeting'.  So we'll see how that goes.   Finally, after eyeing it in the bookstore for a few weeks, I splurged and picked up a copy of Saiyuki Reload volume 6.  7 is scheduled to come out April 10th, I think, so if in case the bookstore here has it before exams finish, I'll pick it up before I go home. Well, maybe they WILL have it on time, because Tokyopop only released Wild Adapter volume 1 in february and I bought it late Feb.  Yay! (Comment on this)

12:09 pm	I can just HEAR the bell tolling... 4 and a half hours away from my programming midterm, and what am I doing?  Catching up to the latest bleach episode, of course.  I find it funny that I stopped watching Naruto years ago and now only read the manga, but I won't TOUCH the bleach manga at all.  I'm sure it looks absolutely amazing, but I just don't want to get ahead of the anime.  I got so used to the colours and the voices that i just don't want to start reading it.  Although, I suppose I could just wait till I catch up to the anime and then stop for awhile.  But still.  I love the bleach music, by the way. ...Just sitting here twiddling my thumbs till this week's Supernatural episode finished downloading, even though i won't be able to watch it till sunday, because I'm going home this weekend and leaving my poor trusty computer here at school, but what can you do? It's almost reading week!  Where I'll spend my one week break catching up on calculus and electrical and probably physics!  Joy of joys! 4:47 pm	oh man, physics is starting to slip, i can feel it. the new textbook is kinda intimidating, i must say... and with it being desemestered, it's weird. but at least math is better! and chemistry too!! damn those multiple choice questions though. umm, my school sucks. the freaks in my school suck also. i kill too much time on the internet, that's probably bad for me, hmm? i stopped watching naruto wayyyyy back at around the episode where umm... lee just got beat up by gaara during the exams, i think i might go back and watch them. however, i have read all of the manga so far, right up to chapter 279, so i'm not sure whether... nah, i'll just watch it when i have time. anybody know where i can watch without downloading? my poor computer can't handle too much... BRIDLEWOOD MANOR! if you're a gwfan, well, you've probably already read it, but if you're like me, then you haven't yet. well, technically, now i have, but if you're like how i was about two weeks ago, that's what i meant. even though i think mitsugi just left it hanging, it's been about a year, more than a year, actually... maybe she'll finish it sometime? hopefully..? i'm off to find some other of linkworshipper's recs. what's that cooking downstairs? it smells realllyyyyyyyyyy good... 6:44 pm	The first day back to work was...interesting. Was it worth it? I'd say. I made about $120 this weekend, and all I lost was some energy and some of my black haircolour. It's turning brown again, damnit. But that's alright. I'm too broke to worry much about my hair anyway. The push-up test was HARRRRD. I am not built for push-ups or sit-ups or anything physically taxing. My running and swimming are totally just flukes of nature. yes. Oh yeah, damn chemistry. (Comment on this)

4:07 pm	school isn't so bad, seeing as there's only like 8 months till ib is finally over with. the mix of cross country and the fitness class is feeling good, i missed the physical activity during school hours last year and the year before. that is by far the funnest (i know it's not a word =D) i have right now, and probably ever will have. it must be because i'm not seeing the same ib kids every damn time, there's actually a mix of my very favourite people around, which is great! =D i should get back to studying the chemistry, i suppose =D. 8:54 pm	paint it green =D whoa, with school rapidly approaching, i've decided to make one giant leap for kathy and paint my room (finally)! after having lived in this house for three years, only now do i really feel like painting it. well, as of tomorrow, once i get off my lazy ass and pick up my paint from the home depot down the road, my room'll be green and blue! how exciting! i've been dry-walling up all the nail holes in the walls from all my posters, and they're in the most unexpected places, actually =D=D. i'm just surprised there were none on the ceiling... soon though, as my poster collection grows. on another note, i've found up to chapter 32 of the nana manga series, thanks to the yahoo group i mooch off of, and it's one of the sadder ones out there, i'm tellin' ya. i won't give the plot away, but do read it if you get the chance, it's by Ai Yazawa. Following the manga tangent, i finally finished "zettai kareshi" by Yuu Watase. geez, how many of you knew it was even finished?? i had no idea till i finished it, well, yesterday. now that's sad. it ends kind of abruptly IMHO, but again, i won't spoil it for any fans who haven't gotten to read it all yet. eh, gotta run, i'll be back later! with my new green room! =D=D Current Mood: cheerful (Comment on this)

2:06 pm	almost time for back to school! =S whoa, in about 22 days, i'll be back in that dump the school to pick up my timetable for next year... sheesh. first thing i have to do is drop computers, and i'll be all set.  just gotta stick with the IB for 10 more months and i'll be off studying somewhere else.  this summer has flown by, as did last summer, what with working almost everyday to save up. eh, i'll get back some other time. =D Current Mood: blah (Comment on this)
